A web quest is an inquiry-based on-line learning activity where students can work in groups so that everyone can participate. I think I could use a web quest in my classroom someday for a student or group of students that is ahead of the rest of the class (enriched), because I could introduce them to higher order thinking and real life experiences. I think an important pro of web quests is that they do indeed call for a higher order of thinking. One con that bothers me is the amount of time that it takes to finish a webquest. They can be pretty lengthy which might lose students' interest.
