I would use this video right before my class was going to start working on cursive handwriting to help stress the fact that practice will make their cursive look better, and it'll help them become more familiar with the ways that the letters are supposed to look etc. It was supposed to be a fun way to show them, hopefully make them laugh or say something about the dog lol.

Ethics
Ethics are a set of moral principals or rules of conduct that are recognized by people.
These moral principals, or ethics, are definitely going to affect the way that I teach in the classroom setting. Ethics are--whether it's consciously or subconsciously--involved in our lives in more ways than we think. Ethical or unethical decisions are made every day, not just by teachers, but by people all over the world.
When teaching, I will be encouraged to make ethical decisions so that I can be a good model for my students. I will need to be very thorough and make sure that I double check myself at all times. It is important to make ethical decisions so that students can see positive action from their teachers.
As I deal with my colleagues at work, I will also need to remember to keep ethical decisions in mind. If I see a colleague doing something unethical, such as helping a student cheat on an assigment or test, it is my duty to report that behavior to those in charge at the school.
I think that some of the pros of dealing with ethics are that we can be great role models for students if we choose to make good ethical choices. Proper ethics can create a great working environment and will help avoid conflict.
Cons of dealing with ethics may be that arguments could get started between parties who don't agree. Also, if I focus too much on ethics, I could wind up not paying enough attention to the other things that need attending in my classroom.

using technology to help teachin' and learnin' in my classroom
Throughout my experience in Instructional Technology, I have learned more and more about the prevalence of technology in the classroom. I have seen how technology can enhance each lesson that we teach, and I fully agree with the movement for proper technological uses in the classroom.
At the beginning of the semester, I very little about blogging and webpages. Now that I have completed this course, I know my way around blogs, and can also make a webpage all by myself! I never would have guessed that I would be able to do either one of those things as easily as I can now. I also feel that although I knew how to use powerpoint effectively before, I have been able to enhance my powerpoints because of this class.
I had never really known too much about teacher webpages before this class either. Now that I know some of the facts about them and their possible uses, I plan on making one when I become a teacher. I enjoyed making my teacher webpage, and look forward to making a real one someday.

Virtual Tours
Virtual Tours are very interesting and as someone who has used them before, I like them a lot! I can still remember going on virtual tours at my house when I was in grade-school, and they were fun because I could see things that I could only see if I were able to travel.
Virtual tours are simulations of actual places, usually composed of actual pictures and or videos. They can also use sounds or narration to enhance their appearance.
I will use virtual tours in my classroom to help the kids visit places they couldn't otherwise visit. We could be talking about Egypt for example, and to help the kids visualize it, I could have them go on a virtual tour of the pyramids. A virtual tour of the pyramids would make the lesson very interesting, and would keep the students involved and excited in their work.
I think the pros of virtual tours are that you can see a lot of things that you couldn't see unless you were able to travel. You can see something in Europe from your desktop.
Some cons are that virtual tours have their limits. They definitely aren't like being at the actual scene, and you're only able to see what the people who made the virtual tour let you see.

Teacher web pages can be very useful for both the students and parents of students alike. These web pages can be used to contact the teacher if you have questions (both as a student and a parent) and also to find out information regarding class materials or topics of study. Webpages should be colorful and appealing to the eye to keep interest.
When I am a teacher, I plan to use my own teacher webpage to keep parents informed on what we are working on in class each month, and hopefully to also keep assignments in order. I will also put interactive games on my teacher webpage for my students to visit, and these games will deal with the materials that we've studied in class.

Podcasts
Podcasting is the process of using audio files to deliver syndicated website content to a digital audience. (about.com)
Podcasting in the classroom can be very effective, for both listening to, and creating. Students activate a lot of learning techniques when making a podcast, either on their own or as a group. They have to think of ideas and edit their work when creating their own podcasts.
Listening to podcasts can motivate students as well. Some of the pros of podcasting are that students can listen to them when they've been sick or missed a couple classes. Another pro is that podcasting if a different way of learning. Students can engage themselves in the podcasts because they may be a new thing for them.
Some cons of podcasting are that they may not always load/work. Also, podcasts don't always involve student movement, and could possibly create lazy attitudes or uninterested in subject matter.
All in all, I think that podcasts can be very effective if used the right way. I hope to integrate them into my classroom someday.

I feel that these results are fairly accurate according to how I've learned material throughout my academic career. I think that I learn best through a lot of different activities and ways of teaching, so these results make sense to me. I thought that visual learning might have been my highest category before I took the test because I have a photographic memory and enjoy reading over notes to do well on tests at school. Altogether, I was pleased, and not too surprised by the results.
