Teacher Web Pages

Teacher web pages can be very useful for both the students and parents of students alike. These web pages can be used to contact the teacher if you have questions (both as a student and a parent) and also to find out information regarding class materials or topics of study. Webpages should be colorful and appealing to the eye to keep interest.

When I am a teacher, I plan to use my own teacher webpage to keep parents informed on what we are working on in class each month, and hopefully to also keep assignments in order. I will also put interactive games on my teacher webpage for my students to visit, and these games will deal with the materials that we've studied in class.

I think some of the pros for teacher web pages are that you can keep a lot of people informed as to what you're doing in class. You can also show your interest and enthusiasm for your work. You also are able to help students along with classwork.

Some of the cons are that teacher webpages may not load or come together as you had planned. They (if not put together properly) can cause confusion, and would result in the parents having to call or make an appointment to meet the teacher to discuss things they couldn't find on the website.
